How it works

Five moves.
One desktop.

Everything from the film, played out on a simulated desktop. Scroll to watch each move, or pick a step under the screen to jump to its result.

Tab anything together.

  1. Drop one window onto another, and they share a strip of tabs.
  2. Even windows from other apps. Mac can't do that.

Dock, arrange, nest.

  1. Drag a window, or a whole tab group, to any edge to dock it.
  2. Docked windows can be tiled and arranged however you like.
  3. Nest spaces inside spaces, as deep as you like. Windows too small to use show as their app's icon.

Double-click to focus.

  1. Double-click the Desktop to focus on it, and again to step back.
  2. Double-click a window's title bar to give it the whole screen.

Frame it. Save it.

  1. Hold ⌘⇧ and drag a rectangle. The camera fits it.
  2. ⌃⌥⇧1 saves the view.

Back out, and pinch in.

  1. ⌃⌥Space shows everything you have open.
  2. Pinch in on anything, and the view settles on it.
  3. Pinch out and in again to go somewhere else, like the Desktop.
